Advanced Integration Protocol

Advanced Integration Protocol (AIP)

This is the most advanced mode of implementation. This is recommended for users with an advanced knowledge and for merchants that are PCI DSS certified. Merchants will have full control over the look of the payment form and be able to adjust things as needed. Every step of this transaction will take place on the merchant’s server from the shopper’s perspective. This type of transaction is referred to as AIP.

  • Utilizes 128-bit SSL encryption
  • The merchant is able to control all aspects of the customer experience

How It Works:
1. A shopper browses the merchant’s website. After selecting items when the shopper wishes to make a payment, they will click the appropriate link on the merchant’s website.
2. This will bring up a payment form on the shopper’s screen. This form will be hosted by the merchant and have the same look and feel as their website.
3. The shopper will fill in all of the information that the merchant requires to complete a transaction and then click submit. The information will then be sent from the shopper to the merchant and in turn to CHARGE Anywhere from the merchant’s server. This mode requires the merchant to have a SSL certificate.
4. CHARGE Anywhere will process the transaction and provide a response to the merchant’s website. The transaction details and payment information are automatically stored securely in ComsGate for real time viewing.
5. Once the transaction is complete, CHARGE Anywhere will display a receipt to the shopper via their website.
6. An email with the response details will be sent to the merchant if an email address is provided.

*** Because the merchant is storing or has access to card holder data, the merchant is required to meet PCI – DSS standards. CHARGE Anywhere will only provide access to Independent Implementation to merchants that can provide documentation on this compliance.
