ComsGate® Specification
The ComsGate® Specification allows a merchant to send transactions directly to the CHARGE Anywhere® Payment Gateway. The transactions that the specification allows are Credit, ACH, and Gift Card. The merchant is also able to schedule recurring transactions and to upload signatures for storage in the CHARGE Anywhere® Payment Gateway.
Applications created utilizing the ComsGate® Specification will automatically benefit from a variety of supported processors as well as taking advantage of new processors that CHARGE Anywhere®, LLC is certified with. Also, since ComsGate® supports a variety of transport platforms, applications and application developers are not limited to using any specific protocol. CHARGE Anywhere®, LLC has the necessary wireless, dial-up and IP gateways to support the needs of the applications.
ComsGate® will securely host transaction and customer information in a PCI DSS Level 1 validated environment.
ComsGate® is a host-based system. No settlement requests are generated by the customer POS. More information is described in detail via the ComsGate® Specification which is available for download. CHARGE Anywhere® also offers the ComsGate® Export API which allows a merchant to retrieve their transactions based on a number of configurable parameters.
