- What do I need to do to submit my software for testing?
- For a list of submission items, please contact cert@chargeanywhere.com. You will be asked to provide information about your solution and will be informed as to the test criteria. This information is available in advance upon request.
- Can I begin testing right away? When can I get scheduled?
- Please contact the CHARGE Anywhere® Test lab at cert@chargeanywhere.com to schedule testing. CHARGE Anywhere® will contact you by phone or e-mail for submission. Test will be scheduled based on CHARGE Anywhere®’s availability.
- How long do the tests take and how will I know my results?
- Each application is given a scheduled test date. CHARGE Anywhere® must receive a complete submission package before the scheduled start date. If the submission package is complete and received prior to the start of testing, a final test report will be distributed within two (2) business days from the start of testing. Once testing has begun, regular problem information can be obtained from cert@chargeanywhere.com. Regular status emails will be sent to you from the CHARGE Anywhere® team indicating the progress of your testing. Information will include tests completed to date, tests remaining, failures found, and any open issues. Note: Failures found will include detailed problem information to assist engineering with duplication of the problem. Further support can be obtained using the resources described in your support package.
- What if I feel a test described is not applicable to my application?
- You must submit to CHARGE Anywhere® Test labs an e-mail documenting why you believe that a particular test does not apply to your product's design. This e-mail will be reviewed by the CTO, who will determine whether or not the exception is approved.
- Our product has different "flavors", i.e. Full, Demo, or Lite versions. Do I have to submit every version?
- Yes, you must submit the application that the end user will receive. We cannot certify "demo" or "lite" versions that may be available. We must test the full product.
- Do I need a test account to use the printer?
- Yes, CHARGE Anywhere® will set you up with a test account to run test transactions with the Bluetooth® card reader and receipt printer.

- Is there a Non-Disclosure Agreement that has to be signed?
- Yes, there is a NDA that must be signed before we can release any code, testing environments, and specific pricing options.
- Do I receive a discount if I am a current reseller?
- Unfortunately, at this time we are not offering any additional discounts. A full discount and revenue share schedule is available with your Embedded Solutions Software Agreement.
- How does the development work?
- Development is done on a PC, the complied application is then transferred onto the smartphone and tested. PC simulators are available for some smartphone platforms from device manufacturers. CHARGE Anywhere® does not have the right to distribute the simulator.
